Can anyone tell me how to use the Carborundum stone shown in the picture to sharpen kitchen knives like the one pictured? The instructions on the bottom of the box say to use some kind of thin clear oil, or soak it in hot petroleum jelly, but I have no idea what type of oil to actually use or what to do after that.
